I think you are wrong the theory says that humans and apes may have had a common ansester way back when not that one came from the other.

I am not educated enough in Biology to make a great argument one way or the other. However there is no question conserning Micro-Evalution but for Macro-Evalution you either have to look at fossel records and guess or have faith that the world was made in 6 days depending on what you belive

Don't know about evolution per se, but I do know there is tremendous genetic variability in all species.

It takes more faith to believe in evolution, per se, than it does to believe in an intelligent being (God) creating it all.
Evolution is presented as theory, while the Bible has proclaimed throughout the centuries that God is the Creator.

Assuming you do believe in Evolution, what form do you favor? punctuated equilibrium or gradualism.

I think its hard not to accept the fact that some sort of evolution has occured. We as humans evolve everyday.

Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.

I do not believe in "the evolution theory". I do believe that we "evolve", that is we change, but that is called "aging and maturing". However, as far as I know, we still have one heart, two lungs, etc., just like Adam did. We're not capable of sprouting wings or gills, no matter how much time we spend in the air or in the water. We are exactly as God intended us to be. I have no explanation of dinosaurs and the "Six Days of Creation", but I believe in both of them. I believe that God can do whatever He pleases in whatever time frame He pleases. As someone else said, I'll don't know it all, but I will one day. Evolution: Let's break it down first.

Micro evolution: This is a term that the creationist movement coined but it is valid. It describes what many on this thread are talking about, mutation. Adapting to ones environment, changes within a species to better suit a changing situation. This is a proven fact, it exists. It is not evolution. It is mutation. Mutation does not equate to species to species evolution.

Macro evolution: This is what is necessary for the Darwin theory the be correct. At some point the number of mutations create a new species. This is actual evolution as described in Darwin's work. This has not been proven and no real or indisputable evidence for it can be shown. In fact although a large percentage of scientists are firm believers in evolution (of course) the one field of science from which questions often arise is the science of genetics. DNA experts (many of them) simply deny that species to species evolution is possible according to our current knowledge of DNA.

The evolutionary movement often ridicules creationist teachings but it is the evolutionists who have been caught red-handed on numerous occasions playing fast and loose with facts and evidence.

The entire recapitulation theory is a prime example.

Do any of you remember being taught that the human fetus goes through the various stages of evolution? It has gills, it has a tail, etc.? Did you know that this entire theory was disproven in the 1920'2 by the science of embryology? The 1920's!!!

Yet it was taught as fact in our schools simply because it was a good teaching tool for the evolutionist movement. So teaching something that is proven false is cool as long as it fits your needs? And for 60+ years?!?!?!

This is just one example of outright fraud taught as fact to further a cause. There have actually been numerous examples like this. Monkey skulls being passed off as human evolutionary intermediaries. Moths pinned to trees by Darwin himself and then their being there used as evidence of evolution. Etc., etc.

It takes just as much faith to believe in evolution as it does to believe in intelligent creation.
